Partnerships

Open Festival Journal considers partnerships that make sense beside editorial work on festival culture. Any collaboration must be clear to readers and must not blur the difference between independent coverage and paid placement.

Possible collaborations

We consider clearly defined collaborations such as a commissioned explanatory feature, a reader-facing resource connected to festival culture, or a partner placement alongside relevant editorial material. Proposals should explain the subject, intended audience, deliverables and any support or payment involved. We do not promise coverage or favourable conclusions.

Partner placements

Partner links or promotional placements may appear in agreed areas across the publication, including relevant article pages or other recurring page locations. Their position and scope are agreed in advance. Placements are identified as partner material wherever they appear, and are not presented as independent recommendations.

Editorial boundaries

Partnerships do not buy editorial approval, access to unpublished work or control over conclusions. We may decline a proposal that is unclear, unsuitable for the publication, or likely to mislead readers. To discuss an idea, use the Contact page and select the partnership option.
